Eligibility
Eligibility Requirements for the Information and Communication Technology for Development Specialization (ICT4D)
Time Constraints:
By applying to this specialization, students are making a two year time commitment. It should be understood that the ICT4D Specialization takes two full years (4 semesters) to complete.
Major:
Preference will be given to students from the College of Communication Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering. If there is available space, students from other majors will also be considered on a case by case basis.
Class Level:
ICT4D is open to sophomores, juniors and seniors in good standing. Sophomores who are applying must be reaching junior status (56 credits) at the end of the semester they are applying.
Course Prerequisites:
There are no course prerequisities for this Specialization.
Application:
Applications are due the second week of both Fall and Spring semesters. Students must submit an application on time. Late applications will not be accepted. If a student applies and is accepted they will begin the program the following Fall or Spring, whichever comes first.
